Set up your SignUpGenius tools

New here, or just need to install the VPN or an app? Follow the steps you need - most people are done in 20-30 minutes.

New hire? Your work email and a one-time 1Password link with your temporary password were sent to your personal email in a separate, secure message - keep that handy for Step 1. Already set up and just need one app (like the VPN)? Jump straight to that step. Always use your @signupgenius.com email for work apps.

Sign in to Microsoft 365 and install Office

Go to office.com and sign in with your work email and the temporary password from your secure link. You'll be prompted to set your own password and register security (MFA) on first sign-in. Then install Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and more).

Device management

Your laptop ships with device management already installed - check System Settings for "Device Management" or "Profile." If it's missing, contact the help desk (helpme.lumaverse.io) and they'll send you the enrollment link for your team.

Bitdefender (security)

Install Bitdefender to keep your device protected (choose "Endpoint for Mac" and follow the steps). Your install link is specific to our organization - grab it from the help center: Get the Bitdefender link

Microsoft Teams

How we stay connected - chat, meetings, and availability. Download Teams

Microsoft OneDrive

Use OneDrive for all your work files - backed up and accessible anywhere. Download OneDrive

SharePoint & site access

Your manager requests the sites you need - they can reply right on your onboarding ticket, or use "Request Access" in the portal (helpme.lumaverse.io). Check in with your manager to confirm what you'll need.

Company VPN

The VPN uses WireGuard plus our secure company sign-in, so it only works with your @signupgenius.com account. Install WireGuard first: Get WireGuard

The VPN setup guide (with the sign-in link and config steps) is sent to you by email once your account is set up - or ask the help desk. We keep those details out of public pages on purpose.

1Password (required password manager)

A 1Password invitation will be emailed to you once your account is set up - watch your inbox. Open that email and follow the steps to create your 1Password account; you'll then receive your shared vaults.

Trouble signing in / forgot your password?

New hire? Use the temporary password from your secure 1Password link for your first sign-in at office.com, then set your own password and register security.
